The Seagate Consumer Support Team is looking for a dynamic and success driven summer intern to play key roles with our customer support activities. We are looking for an intern who is detail oriented, organized and analytical to help develop and maintain processes, tools and capabilities that contribute positively to the Consumer Support Team productivity and efficiency. Deliverables include but not limited to:
Process Mapping and Maturity Testing
Gap Analysis
Data Analytics and Mining
Present findings and actions to management and executives
The intern will learn to apply their analytical and problem solving skills in a business setting, and to collaborate, partner, liaise and develop relationships with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams within Consumer Support and across Seagate. Excellent communications, innovation, teamwork and results driven mentality are the foundations of this role.
Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a university as an undergrad and will return to school fall 2018.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration (with a marketing/data analytics concentration) or related discipline.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Data analytics, management software, journey mapping experience/coursework such R, SQL, Tableau, etc. a plus.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks.
A passion for web and social media customer experience a plus
