Summer Internship

_ GENERAL SUMMARY_

An internship at DTE Energy - Gas, Storage, & Pipelines (GSP) is a great way to gain insight into a career in the evolving energy industry. Our interns gain real-life experience by working alongside full-time employees doing meaningful and challenging work. Responsible for assisting in tasks and duties as directed by the intern's manager. Provides support for critical business projects. Develops technical knowledge and leadership skills for future career marketability.

_ PRINICIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_

• Performs work assignments linked to department/project goals.

• Organizes and prioritizes work assignments on a daily basis, raising questions and issues in a timely manner.

• Performs functions efficiently within scope of authority as defined by the supervisor.

• Participates and collaborates with others on office projects as requested.

• All other duties, as required.

_ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES_

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field from an accredited university. Must have completed at least 2 years of coursework toward degree award.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Being proficient in making presentations, both oral and written, and be proficient with appropriate computer software applications.

• Ability to function within a matrix organization in which functional and business leaders have equal authority within the organization and employees report to both a functional leader and a business leader.

• Strong desire to learn about the energy industry.
