Position Purpose


 

Job Functions / Scope of Authority

DRIVING RANGE:
General Statement of Duties:  Driving Range workers are responsible for picking up the golf balls on the driving range, washing and loading range balls in the range ball dispenser, and staging/cleaning carts.  Must be 16 years of age.

Essential Job Functions:  Drive and operate a golf cart, range picker, and marshal cart.  Communicate in a friendly, responsive, and professional manner to customers and co-workers.

MARSHAL/STARTER:
General Statement of Duties:  
Starter on the tee box, Marshal on the course, on the course, water, maintain/clean on-course restrooms, etc., and help out in any area requested by the supervisor.

Essential Job Functions: Start golfers and check turn times.  Patrol the golf course and make sure patrons are keeping pace and obeying rules.  Stage golf carts as needed.  Communicate in a friendly, responsive, and professional manner to customers and co-workers.  Clean and maintain outside restrooms and water stations.
 

Working Environment / Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Ability to communicate with others, ability to use good judgment; ability to work independently; ability to maintain clean and neat appearance; ability to maintain adequate attendance; ability to follow instructions.  Must
be able to lift 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications:
Driving Range: Must be 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
Marshal/Starter: Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
