"Yes for Tigard" is a pro-transit ballot measure that was considered on the 2016 General Election ballot for voters in Tigard, Oregon. Direct Action Partners was hired to serve as the primary voter outreach vehicle of the campaign to pass the measure, which was passed by the voters of Tigard.

In an election jam-packed with well-funded projects (statewide ballot measures, candidates, etc), DAP cut through the clutter of direct mail and TV ads through an aggressive and targeted door-to-door program. By personally and directly appealing to thousands of voters at the door, DAP was able to identify likely supporters, engage in persuasion, and solicit volunteers.

DAP also went to local businesses to secure endorsements for the measure from local business owners, including assisting on voter pamphlet statements for the voter guide.  DAP identified locations for lawn signs and managed their distribution. 

Finally, DAP aided with the campaign’s “Get Out The Vote” efforts, contacting identified voters to turn in their ballots, as well as follow ups after the election. In what turned out to be a close election, DAP’s work made all the difference for our client.
