Job Title: Manager, Digital Marketing

Location: Westminster, CO or open to remote location

Reporting to: Director, Construction Marketing

Position Overview

Trimble Construction's sector marketing team is looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing efforts through sound strategy, tactical execution, measurement, and continuous optimization.

About You

You will bring a growth marketing mindset that delivers strategies that acquire, engage and convert across our various channels. You should have a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and best practices and are able to track and optimize integrated digital marketing efforts. You love SEO and keyword analysis, and enjoy working with marketing teams, content teams, web developers, data analytics and vendors to translate business objectives to digital marketing effectiveness. Your role is critical in bringing in quality traffic while delivering consistent, personalized, and compelling customer experiences across our construction website(s) and digital engagement experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as an inbound digital expert; lead acquisition strategies and customer experiences focusing on driving increased engagement and customer loyalty

  • Create high-level search strategy that supports a multi-channel approach, work with internal teams to execute and optimize efforts

  • Manage all SEO, SEM, PPC and collaborate on social media marketing

  • Manage dedicated budget for integrated campaigns

  • Guide the web experience strategy across construction sector for customer journey effectiveness

  • Review and optimize website UX to elevate search efforts and align to SEO best practices, with eye on conversions and revenue generation

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal user experiences on landing pages and across digital platforms

  • Analyze end-to-end customer experience across integrated marketing campaigns and evaluate the effectiveness of current customer and digital experiences

  • Accountable for the performance of KPIs to ensure that efforts are tracking towards monthly goals; measure and report performance of digital marketing efforts

  • Lead a team and effectively manage performance, coach, develop and inspire

  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners where applicable

  • Evaluate and provide perspective for emerging technologies and evolving best practices

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Experience with digital communication channels, including digital media (paid search, display), social media, web and mobile (SEO, responsive web design, web functionality, mobile apps)

  • Ability to balance multiple stakeholder priorities to assess situations and communicate with credibility and follow-through

  • Confidence in presenting to leaders and influencing stakeholders as well as working effectively in small teams with colleagues

  • Curiosity to quickly discern and socialize key insights and recommendations that bring meaningful and actionable context to decision making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years working experience in digital marketing

  • 2+ years managing direct reports preferred; experience managing others in a marketing and/or product development environment preferred

  • Experience with SEO/SEM

  • Experience in optimizing websites, landing pages and user funnels

  • Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence at multiple levels across a breadth of marketing, engineering and operations stakeholders

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns

  • Ability to interpret data and provide insights that inform strategy and execution

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments, preferred
