Title: Sales Onboarding Program Manager

Job Location: Portland, OR / Westminster, CO - (or remote)

Department: Sales Enablement, CES

Are you interested in leading onboarding for new sellers to prepare them for success in their roles? Would you like to be part of a sales enablement team that collaborates to define and implement best practices that elevate sales performance?

What You Will Do

As the Sales Onboarding Program Manager, you'll work closely with new hires in the CES sales organization to ensure learning takes place over the first 60-days to prepare them for their roles. You'll manage, track, and reinforce learning as well as assess outcomes and drive continuous improvement. You'll partner with sales leaders across Trimble's Construction sector to establish and extend onboarding best practices. You'll be a key part of a Center for Excellence team who is collaborative, innovative, influential, and fun!

  • Lead and manage onboarding programs to enable readiness of new hires to the Sales organization

    • Track and communicate learner progress in onboarding, certification, and employee development programs

    • Identify and prepare subject-matter-experts for creation and delivery of content, both synchronous and asynchronous

    • Develop agendas to support learning objectives and effectively manage training events

    • Analyze key performance indicators and quantify program effectiveness

    • Assess program needs and develop plans for continuous improvement

  • Partner closely with sales leaders to identify and create training aligned to sales goals and seller competencies. Provide follow-through and coaching to ensure best practices take hold.

  • Extend onboarding programs to new roles and audiences across the broader Sales organization

  • Utilize sales technologies to influence onboarding tools and strategies as well as to track and measure results

  • Create and manage analytics to measure and communicate success of onboarding programs

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 5+ years of work experience in sales, sales enablement, or learning & development, preferably with a hardware or software company

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design or related discipline

  • Experience designing and implementing training programs to build sales skills; demonstrated knowledge of needs analysis and creating learning programs to address needs; ability to effectively design and develop learning content including training, job-aids, documents, and videos.

  • Experience using multimedia authoring tools (such as Camtasia) to develop online learning modules.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail

  • Preferred experience as an administrator of learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms; experience using CRM management systems, Salesforce preferred

  • Well-organized, self-directed team player. Remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.

  • Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
