You Are:

The Director of Programmatic is a proven leader, capable of creating and articulating a vision and rallying internal and external partners around it. They have a perspective on where the industry is going, informed by years of experience within it. They lead by example and always do the right thing when interacting with employees, clients, and media partners. Our clients are some of the fastest growing and most well regarding digital first retail brands in the US. We're one of the six pioneer Shopify Plus agency partners and currently work with a variety of technology partners across ecommerce and digital advertising??

The Work:

  • Be the resident expert on all things Programmatic trading; maintaining platform certifications, and staying up to date on industry trends.?
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop a cross-platform strategy that ensures the clients marketing objectives are met with appropriate audiences/tactics
  • Multi-task and manage multiple client accounts seamlessly with tight timelines and The Stable work cadence.?
  • Act as the team's central point of media campaign management expertise and escalation to address problems as they arise for the account, serving as a resource for staff members reporting to them
  • Oversee the management of campaigns to ensure they consistently meet or exceed client KPIs while lending support to day-to-day trading as needed
  • Create and enforce workflow processes to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Hold members of the team accountable to flawless execution of campaign implementation and develop the QA processes that allow them to do so
  • Own and improve the working relationships with members of the broader digital account teams including account, strategy, business development, product and analytics
  • Develop relationships with platform, inventory and data providers to maximize their value specific to account needs
  • Keep key stakeholders, including clients and account teams, updated on campaign and account level performance via regular and ad-hoc reporting and status meetings
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities to improve performance within and across campaigns
  • Ongoing training and support of the career growth of direct reports
  • Keep Senior Leadership informed of the overall status of the team to ensure any challenges are appropriately resolved and/or escalated
  • Stay up-to-speed on most recent updates for impactful platforms and technologies and their implications on clients (policies, insights, restrictions) and performance (tracking)
  • Data analysis of campaign performance metrics to develop optimization approaches to improve campaigns with different buying models and optimization techniques.
  • Oversee all programmatic media testing, including new tactics, media platforms and new internal products
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to innovate internal reporting tools and products

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant career experience including trading programmatic campaigns at an agency, brand, DSP or Ad Network strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, StackAdapt, etc.), DMPs (LiveRamp, etc.), ad servers (DCM, FlashTalking, Sizmek, etc.), third party verification vendors (IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat), and media accounting systems (MediaOcean, Prisma, Adazzle)

Bonus points if:

  • Innate curiosity and passion for technology with a strong relationships with media partners
  • Should have experience in creating, passing, and overseeing successful implementation of tracking pixels?
  • Demonstrable knowledge of real-time bidding, DSP platforms, attribution models, and associated technologies?
  • Basic tag trouble-shooting skill
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, presentation & organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, with an ability to set expectations and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to organize and consolidate multiple data sources for analysis
  • In-depth understanding of digital media fundamentals and language?
  • Ability to multitask and identify prioritizations under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive self-starter, problem-solver, & hyper analytical?

Travel
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

California $73,000 to $192,600

Colorado $73,000 to $166,400

New York - Albany $67,600 to $154,100

New York City $84,500 to $192,600

Washington $77,700 to $177,200
