Director, Human Resources -Product and Technology - Denver, Colorado

We are looking for a strategic leader who can think big and roll up their sleeves to reimagine the current state and take brand new programs from ideation to full launch for the global Product and Technology functions. You will partner with our Regional HR Partners, Centers of Expertise, and executive leaders (both as stakeholders and as clients) across the organization. You must have a passion for solving complex and ambiguous problems and have experience delivering large-scale programs in global HR Business Partner spaces.

As an individual contributor, reporting directly to an HRBP - Vice President for Product and Technology responsible for specific client groups for Product and Technology, you will develop and implement people strategies to deliver on business goals for your Product and Technology, aimed at driving a high-performing and highly engaged culture. You will facilitate the organizational design, change management, and long-range growth plans that optimize employee experience and retention for your client groups. This includes leading the execution of key talent and change initiatives across the client groups, such as talent reviews and assessments, succession planning, organizational strategy and design, competency development, year-end salary planning, and more.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the VP-HRBP for Product and Technology in all aspects aligning global people strategy with client groups business goals and growth, tactically and strategically.

  • The Director, Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing global and locally relevant strategic HR plans for Product and Technology that align with the company's overall business objectives. This includes workforce planning, talent management strategies, and succession planning.

  • Oversees the Product and Technology global workforce planning and talent management strategies to ensure facets of recruitment, training, development, performance evaluation, and retention strategies for their client groups enable short-term and long-term results on business goals.

  • Responsible for identifying leadership development needs and implementing appropriate solutions. This includes coaching and mentoring leaders, developing leadership programs, and succession planning for product and tech professionals.

  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Operations, regional HR Partners and Centers of Expertise to develop solutions, programs, and policies. They use data to make informed decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. They also provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to the management.

Role Requirements

  • The successful candidate should have 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner, (or equivalent) experience, proficient in all areas of human resources including recruitment, learning, performance management, compensation, etc. ideally in in large, multinational corporations.

  • Must be a strategic leader with sound technical skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail with the appropriate balance of strategy and execution. For supporting the Product and Technology organization, that includes an understanding of the latest technologies, software, and tools used in the industry.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, trends, related laws, labor codes and other relevant HR regulations. Global experience preferred.

  • Solid business acumen, understanding business operations and financials. This includes the ability to develop a deep understanding of the business, industry trends, and external factors that may impact the organization and use this knowledge to develop proactive HR strategies.

  • Influencing, negotiating, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with executive leadership and stakeholders across the Company.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to define and solve problems quickly, while maintaining focus on the bigger picture.

  • Change management experience is critical, in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to package and present complex analysis and recommendations clearly and comfortably.

  • The role may require occasional domestic and/or international travel.

Salary

The base salary range is $137,000-185,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies
