Job Summary

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, manage and implement the facility's refrigeration program. Performs maintenance and operation service to refrigeration equipment. In addition, monitors the building automation system and pneumatic tube system at a high level, acknowledging alarms, making low level programming changes, adjusting temperatures. Responsible for managing contractors when necessary to perform fixes or implementations for the systems listed above. Responsible for project follow-through and report out as well.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages the Primex systems throughout the organization. (20%)
  • Perform tasks to maintain the operational status of the facility's building automation system, including adding and removing equipment from the systems and updating the software. (20%)
  • Performs tasks to maintain the operational status of the facility's pnematic tube system. (15%)
  • Manages projects that contribue to the operational status of the refrigeration monitoring program, builidng automation system and tube system. (15%)
  • Maintains, records, and prepares reports required by leadership for regulatory requirements. (15%)
  • Plans and coordinates installation, maintenance, and repair work with other trades. (15%)


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required


Work Experience:

  • Three to five years' refrigeration, building automation, or related experience Required and
  • One year experience using building automation systems or equipment information systems Required


Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of building systems.
  • Knowledge of facility engineering equipment and terminology
  • Ability to diagnose and solve technical and/or system problems of varying complexity.
  • Able to run reports from building automation system, interpret data and present information, trends and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effectively communicate technical information in a discussion or training setting and ensure understanding.
  • Attentive to timelines of systems operations and able to complete work according to deadlines and in collaboration with others
