We have an immediate need for a Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join our Transportation Team, located in one of our Western Region offices. This position will involve analysis, design and inspection of highway, rail and pedestrian bridges and associated structures. Responsibilities Include:

  • Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our West Region bridge group.

  • Provide analysis & design of bridges and related transportation structures.

  • Support structural design on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate.

  • Work with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery plans and specifications.

  • Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.

  • Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of design experience on structural engineering projects.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (CA a plus).

  • Solid structural analysis and design skills with an understanding of related engineering disciplines needed to complete transportation and infrastructure projects.

  • Ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.

  • Basic CAD proficiency (Microstation or AutoCAD)

Compensation Range:

$73,650.00 - $98,200.00
