Staff Pharmacist

As a full time, exemptCPS Solutions, LLCStaff Pharmacistat Ozarks Healthcare,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Pharmacy Manager about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule:This full time exempt position will work 40 hours a week from 8:30am-5:00pm

About the Facility:Ozarks Healthcare is a Joint Commission accredited, 114-bed acute care hospitaland not-for-profit medical referral center with over 1,300 employees, serving an eight-county area in south-central Missouri and north-central Arkansas. Services include family medicine, specialty clinics, rehabilitation, home care, interventional cardiac care, open-heart surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, and cancer treatment.CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or retail setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine
