Position Title: Cryo Technician
Denver, CO
Monday through Friday and On-Call

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels in industrial, medical, specialty gas and welding markets.
Attends in house and external training to become proficient in working with bulk gas delivery systems serviced by Airgas Intermountain.
Performs installation, preventative maintenance and repairs on bulk gas delivery systems manufactured or distributed by Airgas Intermountain.
Safely operates an Airgas vehicle from facility to customer locations to complete duties and work orders.
Maintains company vehicle, tools, truck inventory and equipment to be able to respond to customer needs in a timely manner.

  • Ability to travel with expenses paid by Airgas, travel is often overnight.

  • Deliver, install and maintain all cryogenic pressure vessels in the customer base.

  • Perform preventative maintenance checks on a regularly scheduled basis of all cryogenic pressure vessels.

  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies needed to perform duties.

  • Handle hazardous materials daily in a safe and approved manner.

  • Install piping and final line regulator systems for medical and industrial applications.

  • Set alarms for automatic emergency reserve systems of gases at hospitals.

  • Install manifolds for use with high pressure gas cylinders.

  • Install and maintain cryogenic pumps and drives to all branch locations.

  • Do sight surveys at prospective customer locations to determine what needs to be done to perform the installations.

  • Install and maintain cryogenic pumping systems on delivery trucks.

  • Must have general mechanical skills.

  • Must have a clean MVR and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance.

  • Experience with plumbing and the ability to use hand tools, both electrical and manual, in a safe manner.

  • Ability to plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment.

Pay range: $28 - $30

Incentive pay: This position is eligible for incentive compensation in the following program: quarterly bonus program
