As a CDL Driver for our Denver District 16th Street Mall Project, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B
  • Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
  • Two years of previous experience preferred
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment a plus
  • Thorough operational knowledge and skills of flatbed truck and flatbed trailer operation
  • Can operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Must follow verbal and written instruction
  • Must have maneuvering and backing skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Be physically able to connect and disconnect trailer
  • The ability to read printed materials, signs and directions
  • Occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbs 
  • Navigating and performing activities on various construction sites in a safe manner
  • The ability to frequently sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment.
  • And other duties as assigned

The salary range for this position is between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
