As a Planner III, you will plan, and schedule the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related material through our production and inventory process. You'll monitor production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials timed to meet our production requirements, troubleshoot potential scheduling problems, provide solutions to less complex problems, and track production and material deficiencies and implementing the master production plan through the material management system to execute the program and product life cycle.
Sierra Space-based in Louisville, CO with operations in Madison, WI, Durham, NC, Huntsville, AL, Houston, TX, and Kennedy Space Center, FL-designs and manufactures the Dream Chaser spaceplane and other advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers, and international organizations.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics or related field of study and typically six (6) or more years of relevant experience; higher level degree may substitute for experience.
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Experience with the engineering change process
- Knowledge of master production planning
- Understanding of and the ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.
Preferred:
- Experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Operations Management
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)
- Understanding of Unified Commercial Code (UCC)
- Prior experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and /or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$79,264.96 - $118,897.45Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
