Overview

The Training and Development Coordinator will work collaboratively across all departments and support Field Operations. This position will partner with all departments to facilitate training sessions and coordinate training activities to ensure training is both efficient and impactful. Examples of daily activities include but are not limited to: logistic support, administrative reporting and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) content management.

Responsibilities

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Onboarding Support
      • Cultivate the integration of new hires by supporting the training process, ensuring rapid and effective team member engagement
      • Manage remote peer trainer schedules
      • Review and update training slide decks to incorporate the current information and feedback, ensuring content aligns with brand standards
      • Maintain records of training activities and team member progress
      • Gather and evaluate training feedback to refine and improve training effectiveness

    • Training Development & Facilitation
      • Create and assess training curriculum, programs, and resources to facilitate strategic training based on the organization's goals
      • Drive brand standards and Griffis Residential values philosophy through all training and development activities
      • Facilitate engaging and interactive virtual and in-person training sessions to support associate growth & development
      • Support execution of implementation plans for training and development programs and roll outs
      • Support the continuous improvement process for measuring the effectiveness of training programs with regular reporting

    • Event Management
      • Plan and provide logistical support for various size meetings and training sessions (local and remote)
      • Assist with arranging travel, booking venues and coordinating meetings and events
      • Manage vendors as necessary

    • Additional Responsibilities
      • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS)
      • Ensure our knowledge library is current and effective
      • Produce standard reports with regular frequency
      • Work collaboratively across all departments to support associate learning & development
      • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in a related field is preferred
  • 1-3 years related office coordination experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exemplary communication skills required: written, visual, verbal, presentation
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
  • Experience as a Training Coordinator is preferred
  • Experience with meal/event planning and scheduling travel
  • Experienced, confident, and comfortable planning and facilitating training sessions and meetings
  • Proven ability to be a trusted, valued, and effective contributor within and across teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive work environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Travel as required (approximately 10%)
