Position Summary

This position represents an opportunity to apply engineering expertise at the Engineer II level in the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology group in support of GMP production operations at the Boulder, Colorado manufacturing facility.

Position Responsibilities

Qualified candidates would have the ability to provide biological engineering principles to the process development, technology transfer, and manufacture of recombinant proteins. Experience in monitoring process performance of manufacturing and the ability to lead process troubleshooting efforts is essential. Qualified candidates will also bring the ability to own and manage the operation, training, and maintenance of bioprocessing equipment in the support of clinical and commercial GMP operations. Strong technical writing skills are required for candidates applying to this role.

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates will have an engineering Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience or an engineering Master's degree with 1 or more years of relevant experience.

Engineers within the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology group are capable of applying a working knowledge of bioprocessing to execute Good Manufacturing Practices to the technology transfer and routine production of biologic product production. Qualified candidates would have the ability to work under general supervision to apply engineering principles to a variety of technical problems. Candidates for this position should demonstrate the ability set priorities and lead initiatives in cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
