Marketing/Business Development Coordinator

Greenwood Village, CO

CLP Engineering is seeking a Marketing/Business Development Coordinator to join our team of Professionals at our corporate location in Greenwood Village, CO.

CLP Engineering (CLPE) is a full-service electric utility solutions engineering firm with more than twenty years' experience in electrical utility system ownership, upgrades, maintenance and operations through our sister company, City Light & Power. We offer a wide range of power system engineering services to investor-owned, municipal, cooperative, government, industrial, and commercial customers.

The Marketing/Business Development Coordinator provides marketing services, business development support and proposal assistance to the engineering department and organization. The role will be involved in a wide range of marketing and communications functions, and proposal processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the engineering leadership team with business development (BD) support and needs.
  • Organize, manage, and participate in BD events including exhibit booths at conferences, customer meetings, and customer appreciation events.
  • Manage events calendar, including registration and tracking participants. Order necessary materials.
  • Attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote and showcase CLPE.
  • Develop and maintain various BD and proposal related document templates.
  • Assist in developing and upkeep of marketing tools such as sales presentations, experience highlights, project highlights, website content, and other marketing materials.
  • Day-to-day management of the Company's social media presence including multiple websites, Linked In, etc.
  • Research and identify potential leads/opportunities and collaborate with BD team to verify a match with CLPE's capabilities.
  • Analyze data, conduct market research, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Assist with technical proposal writing including review of request for proposal (RFP) documents, draft proposal preparation, and non-technical review of final proposals.
  • Manage and maintain CLPE's Salesforce BD tracking and organization tool including admin, weekly updates, reports, entries, and other routine platform maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties and vendors to ensure all regulatory and company requirements are met.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, sales, communications, or proposal development required.
  • Previous experience with Architectural/Engineering/Construction firm strongly preferred. Ideal candidate will be familiar with the electrical power systems industry.
  • Experienced with proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services preferred.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Drupal experience or other similar web platform experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who sets priorities and drives deliverables to execution with minimal supervision.
  • Works well in a team environment, offering suggestions and improvements to processes.

Travel:

  • 10 - 15% overnight travel expected.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

  • You must be a US Citizen.
  • You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
  • Valid driver's license required with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Salary range: $45,000-$65,000 based on experience plus eligible for participation in Short Term Incentive Plan.
    • We reserve the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range based on factors unrelated to sex.
