Schmidt Construction, part of the Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Distributor Truck Driver to work at our Castle Rock, CO location . The Distributor Truck Driver operates tack truck with trailer for the purpose of transporting to and from locations and applying bond coat to pavement surfaces.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Check and maintaining fluid levels
- Maneuver vehicle to properly load, transport, and apply material
- Observe loading operation to ensure correct material, proper weight and proper distribution of material
- Get vehicle weighed and processing appropriate paperwork
- Write up or communicate repair requests to mechanics
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement (Or ability to obtain)
- Willing to train
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
- Lifts up to fifty (50) pounds
- Sits, stands, and walks for extended period of time
- Occasional pushing, pulling and/or prying
- Good visual acuity, depth perception and eye-hand coordination
- Able to detect differences between sounds that vary in pitch and loudness
- Operates motor vehicle
- Works in environment with noise and temperature variations
