Position: IT Lead
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in a small to medium IT environment, with at least 1 year experience in Cybersecurity Maturation Model Certification (CMMC) Compliance and experience in network and server administration. Experience in US Government/Defense industry preferred.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Compensation Range: $120k - $150k depending upon education, skills and experience.

Job Description: The IT Lead is responsible for continuing to maintain our CMMC Level 3 compliance and leading the transition to higher levels of compliance. The IT Lead leads the local IT staff and collaborates with the Vice President of IT at our parent company. The IT Lead must be technically proficient in modern network and systems administration, cybersecurity, computer systems, physical security, and mobile phone systems. The IT Lead must be comfortable working with team members and demonstrate patience to both learn from team members and teach new skills to team members. The IT Lead reports to the Chief of Staff and leads projects and initiatives to improve the IT infrastructure, architecture, and processes. The IT Lead is responsible for writing policies and procedures and developing and conducting related training for team members.
Responsibilities include:
  • Supervisor for local IT Team Members
  • Manage CMMC Compliance Program
  • Responsible for overall cybersecurity and physical security profile for the company
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors.
  • Respond to incoming IT requests via walk-ups, phone or email.
  • Develop and document process and procedures for IT and end users.
  • Responsible for securing windows server and system administration to include imaging, maintaining, troubleshooting, patching, and repairing environments.
  • Implementation of STIG guidelines from various customers.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance, analysis of system faults, troubleshooting, and running diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems as well as be capable of repairing system/environment problems.
  • Administer WSUS and deployment of security patches and updates.
  • Support network connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Active Directory Group Policy.

Required Experience / Capability:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and maintain composure and good working relationships under pressure.
  • Effectively manage schedule and priorities with minimal daily direction to meet mid to long-term schedule objectives.
  • 8 years of experience in IT and at least 2 years of experience leading collaborative teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in issue tracking and resolution methods.
  • Experience with MS Office 365 applications and tools from an IT implementation and maintenance perspective.
  • Install, support, and maintain client and server operating systems.
  • Familiarity and experience with critical security controls, CMMC, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NIST SP 800-171.
  • Administer server-based networked systems, network storage, firewalls, and switches.
  • Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and software and peripherals.
  • Develop policies and procedures for IT Staff and end users.
  • Develop training for IT Staff and end users.
Additional Desired Experience / Capability:
  • Experience with GCC High Administration.
  • Experience with management of ERP systems (particularly Dynamics 365).
