What you'll do....

The Sales Analyst is a critical component of the tru fru Sales team. You will provide the insights necessary to make sound business decisions and drive strategic initiatives. You will assist in developing promotional strategy, on-shelf assortments, sales forecasts and customer joint business plans while looking for ways to streamline and improve current processes utilizing data driven insights. The right candidate for this position should possess the technical skills needed to execute analytical best practices and the ability to draw their insights together into a cohesive story. This role is expected to deliver and maintain sales/customer reporting, sales/customer analysis, and Trade Optimization in support of the customer team to deliver objectives of revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment and promotions.

Note: This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in Northwest Arkansas, Colorado, or Illinois, with occasional travel to HQ or sites, whenever needed or requested. This is a hybrid position for candidates located in Utah.

Job Aspects:
* Compile, analyze, and clearly communicate analytical findings of large amounts of data.
* Develop and maintain library dashboards that track customer point of sale data.
* Provide weekly reporting recaps including sales performance, instocks, OTIF, & SQEP metrics.
* Provide ad hoc analytical support and insight generation for use in presentations by sales, marketing, and overall business management.
* Assist in working with the sales team by using sales trends to identify strengths and weaknesses in customer assortments and make recommendations to improve productivity.
* Actively work with Replenishment teams regarding forecast recommendations, OOS concerns, & supply plan issues.
* Measure the ROI and sales impact of past promotional activity and assist in developing promotional plans throughout the year.
* Actively support sales team in annual financial planning & forecasting.
* Manage new item creation process for both Walmart (Item 360) & Sam's Club (IDM).

You have...
* A bachelor's degree in business or in a closely related field
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer support
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in business analytics
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in CPG and/or retailing
* Experience with promotional/non-promotional strategy
* Knowledge of Walmart retail link, including Item 360, Decision Support, OTIF platforms, NOVA, Madrid, and IDM
* Familiarity with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen NPD) and standard measures of sales performance
* Exceptional working proficiency of Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, Power Point, and Word
* Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and influencing skills
* Discipline to organize, track and follow-through details, as well as manage multiple tasks
* Drive to take ownership of the work with the ability to adjust to changes with a positive, can-do attitude and mentality
* Ability to use hard and soft data to mine for opportunities, measure results, and inform decision-making
* High emotional and social intelligence with the ability to engage with different personalities
* A growth mindset, with an incessant curiosity and motivation to keep learning and growing

Pluses
* 3+ years of experience in sales and/or customer support
* 2+ years of business analytics experience

The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
