DaVita's procurement team also known as PRISM (Procurement, Risk reduction, Innovation, and Supply Management) is on a multi-year journey of transforming our procurement / supply-chain / strategic sourcing process to be the best for our patients and partners and are looking for an innovative Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager with Professional Services contracting and Consulting negotiation experience to join our team.

In this vital role, reporting the Director of Strategic Sourcing, you will provide oversight of key suppliers, provide regular communications to senior leadership and participate in key initiatives and partner with internal customers and suppliers for process improvement. The position requires a deep understanding of Consulting rate sturcture, writing SOWs and work experience with large consulting firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, BCG and PWC to determine best practices, systems, and policies, and use of data to implement those practices to drive enhanced economic value to the company

Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Collaborate with DaVita and Procurement executives to create and deploy RFx and supplier relationship management best practices to meet objectives.
  • Partner with Sr Director, Vendor Management to develop supplier scorecards and profiles among other forward-thinking improvements that advance DaVita's ability to optimize our supply management capabilities and bring visibility to supplier performance and opportunities to deliver incremental value across the organization and to our patients, and teammates
  • Enforce DaVita's consulting procurement policy
  • Deliver favorable financial outcomes while leading supplier consolidation initiative for several professional services categories
  • Actively monitor KPI metrics, track progress and prepare presentations for senior management
  • Facilitating and executing meaningful supplier meetings such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and operating reviews
  • Develop and drive category strategy(s) to assess market, supply/demand risks and opportunities.
  • Identify ongoing process and service improvements to create maximum benefit and impact
  • Support company initiative as they relate to cost savings, supplier diversity, inclusion and sustainability.
  • Provide insight in defining future state procurement process, technology and tools related to supplier diversity
  • Travel required up to 15%

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Procurement/Purchasing Experience
  • 2+ years sourcing experience with expertise in influencing business strategy and vendor relations
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred)
  • Highly honed contracting and negotiation skills within HR/HRT required
  • Experience writing and generating RFPs, RFIs and RFQs to suppliers required
  • Experience with Stakeholder Management and cross functional collaboration preferred
  • CPSM or similar certification preferred

  • Strong influencing skills that can be used to lead teams and build partnerships with internal resources and DaVita supply base
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt based on changing priorities

Salary/ Wage Range

$100,100.00-$147,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
