Job Overview

The Senior Management Analyst performs professional level work in the principles, practices, methods, and techniques of management analysis. They formulate, drive and lead projects using process improvement methodologies, project management strategies, leadership, and change management skills to achieve improvements in either operational or clinical outcomes. They work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to strategize, develop and achieve goals, lead teams in the use of improvement techniques and methodologies; transfers process improvement knowledge and skills to teams in the course of project execution. In addition, the Senior Management Analyst mentors, coaches, and collaborates with management to direct and coordinate team members. This role is for an analyst to Coach independent pediatric practices for quality, utilization, and total cost of care.

Job Status: Full time, 40 hours per week.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Hybrid

Qualifications
  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Management, Nursing, or a related field.
  • EXPERIENCE -Five (5) years of professional experience in administrative, management, and operational analysis work.

Pediatric Care Network is a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) experience preferred.

  • EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of related professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.
Responsibilities

  • No direct patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.)

  • Prepares complex financial reports, spreadsheets, and financial statements, reviews and interprets financial information for research leadership, and presents findings and recommendations to management for review and guides decision making. Ensures compliance and maintains fiscal accountability with regard to rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides fiscal monitoring and analysis of Children's Colorado's portfolio of institutionally funded research investigators and operational departments. Forecast research related expenses and revenues as it relates to Children's Colorado investment in programmatic and operational research efforts.
  • Reviews and approves the allocation of research operational resources and assets, analyzes and validates requests and business cases, monitors budget spending, ensures accounts are properly funded and allocations are managed appropriately, develops spending models and analyzes cost drivers, strategizes budgetary needs, and recommends allocation of funds.
  • Develops, evaluates, plans and conducts analysis of financial, operational, clinical or administrative projects in collaboration with management. Defines the scope of work, purpose, goals and objectives, time frames, and resources requirements of the project. Engages and influences internal and external stakeholders as participants and owners of the processes being improved.
  • Effectively assesses organizational needs, objectives and challenges and formulates appropriate program and project improvement strategies in collaboration with assigned areas to support internal clients in achieving business results that are aligned with organizational strategy, pillar goals, mission, vision and values.
  • Demonstrates advanced data management abilities and assessment of organizational problems, researches best practices, trends, and historical and current data, including but not limited to related laws, policies, procedures, methods, and practices; develops the collected and relevant data into meaningful formats to facilitate data analysis and review.
  • Develops data collection plans; conducts measurement system analysis and analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data sets to support root cause analysis and to demonstrate improvement. Establishes appropriate control plans; analysis of existing policies, procedures and practices. Explores possible alternatives or solutions.
  • Develops proposals and recommendations based on research and analysis; determines the impact of proposed changes or recommendations and the effects to the division or department. Presents findings and recommendations to management staff; provides analysis of budget implications for proposed recommendations; seeks support and approval of proposed recommendations.
  • Completes projects using established continuous improvement tools and methodologies to identify objectives and metrics, report identified savings and results, and imbed sustainability plans. Follows established practices for documentation, provides technical assistance to staff during implementation, as required makes modifications to ensure the successful completion of the project or study. Prepares written reports that summarize research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation strategies.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with supervisors, employees, and other stakeholders to obtain cooperation and support in assigned projects or studies. Performs other related duties as assigned. #LI-SE1

  • GUIDELINES: Fully qualified, full performance or journey level. Work is reviewed for adherence to instructions, accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standard practice or precedent. Recurring work clearly covered by guidelines may or may not be reviewed.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $76,368.20 to $114,552.29
Hourly Salary Range: $36.72 to $55.07
