The Arvada, CO location is nestled near the foothills of the front range, just west of Denver. The office is a 10-minute drive from downtown Golden and Arvada and is an easy commute from most of the Denver Metro area. Colorado offers year-round outdoor activities and is a melting pot of cultures.

Our team in Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for a Software System Engineer to join our Space Vehicles team in Arvada, CO. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and will have a 9/80 hybrid work schedule.

To be considered for the Software System Engineer role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
  • Self-Starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and can communicate effectively.
  • 5+ years of experience in System Engineering tasks such as requirement management, verification, etc.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to develop software requirements.
  • Experience with Formal Qualification Testing (Run For Record).

As a Software System Engineer, you will:

  • Closely work with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Generate high level software design in the form of requirements.
  • Support software developers implementing the requirements.
  • Support software testers to ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Work with fellow engineers in the Agile development environment.

Salary Range:

  • The base pay range for this opportunity is $95,326 - $145,600 per year.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
