Overview

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the Vice President Total Rewards and direction of the Director Total Rewards, this role assists with the operational management of reward opportunities available to employees that align with the organization's goals, budgets and expectations. Regularly examines the organization's programs and policies governing compensation and benefits to determine if they are competitive with similar organizations, then recommends and implements enhancements as appropriate. Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations, and filing and compliance requirements, is essential. This role requires applying strong analytics to build out excel models and tools; high attention to detail for administration and process management; and strong communication skills in partnering with diverse internal clients. A successful Senior Total Rewards Analyst demonstrates a take action mindset with attention to detail and a sense of urgency in an environment with frequent workload changes and competing demands.

Responsibilities

Compensation:

    Lead the coordination and execution of CPI's annual compensation review, merit date cycle, and salary data reporting.
  • Perform job classification evaluations to ensure consistency throughout the business; participate in the benchmarking and pricing of all job descriptions.
  • Complete compensation survey responses and maintain compensation data in software platform for accuracy and timely data.
  • Conduct regular annual market pay analysis to determine competitiveness of pay and make recommendations for pay adjustments.
  • Review salary quotes for new hires, promotions, transfers and other compensation actions.
  • Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administration of short-term incentive programs (quarterly/annual bonus plans), spot-awards, reporting changes within the programs, program documentation and communication, data audits, and working with HR Partners to ensure proper employee communication.
  • Partner with Payroll and HRIS and serve as subject matter expert on compensation and cross-functional projects;
  • Provide guidance to HR Partners and leadership on pay decisions, policies and guidelines.
  • Compile, analyze, prepare and present data in Excel and PowerPoint presentations

Benefits:

  • Lead the annual benefits renewal process, including the coordination of annual open enrollment process, communication and vendor data feeds.
  • Address benefits inquiries by providing direction and assistance to employee's regarding eligibility, claims, qualifying events, and other benefits issues as they arise.
  • Development and delivery of benefit awareness campaigns to ensure employees are knowledgeable in how to maximize their benefit investment.
  • Submits payment request for benefit invoices to Accounting for timely and accurate processing.
  • Process benefit-related contributions (retirement, FSA, HSA, etc) post-payroll, ensuring timely funding of employees' accounts.
  • Perform all benefits related audits, requests for data, and routine benefit program reporting.
  • Health & welfare plan vendor management including relationship building, escalation of issues, and partnering with vendor representative on file errors from benefit enrollment system to vendor.
  • Manage administration of the 401(k) plan, including but not limited to employee communications, coordination of Investment Committee meetings, vendor management/relations, annual audit and discrimination testing.
  • Responsible for maintaining a deep and thorough understanding of HR systems; identifies efficiencies to be gained in business processes.
  • Partner with the Accounting and Payroll teams to ensure proper processing of employee benefit deductions each pay period.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Human Resources preferred.
  • 5+ years of compensation and/or benefit experience required.

Qualifications:

  • Act when answers to a problem are not readily apparent in equivocal circumstances.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of total rewards concepts and programs. Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy and sense of urgency.
  • Must be a self-starter, takes initiative and ownership, and is an effective independents contributor and team player.Demonstrates professionalism and maturity to handle sensitive/confidential information and make sound decisions.
  • Desire to adjust and automate for process improvement.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to function with minimal supervision is key with this position for work content as well as virtual work environment.
  • Agility, sound judgment, independent thinking, follow-through, and initiative.
  • Ability to efficiently identify and solve moderately complex issues.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills necessary in working with business leaders, HR Partners, and associates; able to present complex information.
  • Strong proficiency with computers, Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and HR systems, experience in ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information, strong financial acumen, high level of professionalism.
  • Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands.
  • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
  • Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, concepts, and practices.
  • Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.
  • Latitude to direct work-day and identify or gaps in service and develop short term plans to fill gap.

Physical Demands:

  • This is a remote position, with the ability to work from home in a virtual environment, where the following is required; reliable high-speed internet access (hotspot not acceptable).
  • Possible travel to US sites.
