Job Description
Redaptive is seeking a forward-thinking, strategically minded, driven individual with a strong background across strategic finance, capital markets, treasury, transaction structuring, and energy related ITC management.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Investor Relations, this role will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy, pricing and performance of the organization. This position requires a blend of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to guide policies, raise capital, and provide actionable insights and guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financing strategies, project debt finance, tax equity, and transaction structuring, and be able to work with little oversight to drive actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Financing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financing strategies, incorporating project debt finance (warehouse lines, SPVs, securitizations, etc.), equity alternatives, and tax equity that align with the organization's financial objectives and risk tolerance
  • Capital Raising: Lead efforts to raise capital through various channels, including debt financing, sponsor equity, and other alternative financing options
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to integrate capital markets considerations into overall strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Pricing Strategy: Design and lead cross-functional pricing strategy to drive levered and unlevered margins and returns
  • Tax Equity: Lead the tax equity strategy and execution for Redaptive projects
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of professionals involved in capital markets and pricing activities, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop sophisticated financial and pricing models to evaluate capital allocation decisions, assess sales opportunities, and optimize capital deployment
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks related to capital markets activities, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and liquidity risk
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including lenders and rating agencies
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of capital and pricing-related activities of the organization, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Capital Efficiency: Drive ongoing assessment of the company's capital structure and capital markets opportunities to optimize the company's cost of capital
  • Market Analysis: Monitor capital markets and pricing trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks that may impact the organization's capital structure, financing, and pricing decisions
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and internal policies governing capital markets activities
Required Abilities, Skills, and Education
  • 8+ years of experience working in and across a finance function with job responsibilities across one or more of the following functions: strategic finance, capital markets, treasury, transaction structuring, and energy-related ITC management
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent relationship experience with the investment community across banks, FinCo's, independents, private equity firms, insurance companies
  • Proven track record arranging and managing funding facilities with multiple lenders, from negotiating terms to credit agreements, to the ongoing facility management and compliance
  • Demonstrated excellence in navigating transactions that include 3rd party funding providers
  • Understanding of a wide variety of structures, including EaaS, PPAs, Leases, and Loans, and how to drive pricing/returns from these structures
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with comfort and experience managing a team and developing talent
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up
  • Knowledge and experience of working in energy efficiency/sustainability a plus

  • Expected annual salary: 175-195K (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
  • Annual bonus of 25%, subject to company and individual performance
