Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time plumbing engineer. Responsibilities include leading the plumbing design of multiple projects of various sizes; preparing reports and studies; selecting, specifying, and estimating costs of plumbing system equipment; performing calculations as require; conducting periodic construction site inspections. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering
- At least four years of relevant plumbing engineering experience
- PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
- Leading plumbing design of complex projects
- Performing plumbing calculations for system layout and sizing
- Using Revit to create plumbing drawings
- Military projects
- Fire protection design
- Plumbing codes
