POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for the Service Depot repair and reconditioning for all LivaNova equipment and providing technical support to other areas of the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for performing processes required to release returned product to finished goods for resale, including but not limited to:

  • Disinfection and cleaning of equipment per procedure

  • Moderately complex repair and testing per procedure

  • Generation of required documentation

  • Packaging and labeling per procedure

  • Responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs and updates on department test equipment per procedure.

  • Accountable for department Inventory; accuracy, stocking, shipping and receiving.

  • Responsible for providing technical support and/or training to team members of Depot and Field Service, Marketing, Quality, R&D, Sales, Shipping and Receiving as needed.

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements relating to the Service Depot activities.

  • Is seen as subject matter expert with regards to:

  • Basic electronics and mechanics

  • Product functionality, performance and testing

  • Software loading and updating

  • Technical troubleshooting

  • Calibrated equipment functionality and use with LivaNova equipment

  • May lead cross-functional meetings relating to service and technical issues.

  • May author and/or edit quality-controlled documents and procedures.

  • May develop department KPI trending methods and/or maintain.

  • Responsible and accountable for all assigned company issued assets including but not limited to badges, computers and related hardware, keys, thumb drives.

  • Required to complete timely and accurate paperwork, electronic documentation, and administrative tasks.

  • Maintains an action plan of personal development and training through goals and objectives to improve job skills and overall industry and product knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong, demonstrated electro-mechanical expertise and technical knowledge on products and internal processes.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Expert level ability to identify and solve equipment problems quickly and accurately.

  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to proactively plan, schedule and develop own work with minimal guidance or supervision.

  • Must be capable of receiving and developing work direction from supervisory and management personnel.

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of company personnel and customers.

Working Conditions:

Education:

  • Knowledge necessary to perform at this level is generally acquired through an Associates Degree or equivalent technical certificate program or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Around 5-6 years relevant technical repair and maintenance experience.
