Job Summary

The Civil Systems Group (CSG) Contracts Administrator will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, administering, and closing out standard and non-standard contracts. This position conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. This role supports the preparation and submission of cost proposals, including coordinating and reviewing labor and ODC estimates, proposal terms, and other documents, as required. This role advises management of contractual rights and obligations, complies, and analyzes contractual requirements, and develops recommendations to internal and external customers, as required.

Work Model

This position will be a hybrid work model: 3 days per week on-site in Chantilly, VA.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or other government agency procurement regulation analysis, evaluation of impact to contract terms, and review of Aerospace functional area responsibilities
  • Draft negotiation position recommendations
  • Negotiate, prepare, review and revise contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide information and analysis on requirements
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures providing guidance for enhancing contracts function
  • Develop documents and content required for internal CSG Contracts website
  • Provide information regarding contract procedures, terms, and requirements to both internal and external customers
  • Plan, develop, prepare, and present proposals, contracts, and grants
  • Administer contract and/or grant performance by analyzing and interpreting performance requirements, special provisions, modifications, and terms and conditions

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10 or more years of contracts experience
  • Experience in government contract management
  • Understanding of FAR, and other government laws and regulations
  • Research and analysis skills, with the ability to draft topic papers on quick delivery
  • Willingness to travel on occasion
  • This position requires a TS/SCI with CI polygraph, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience working directly with Federal Civil Agencies (e.g., NASA, DOC, DHS, DOT)
