Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the Millwork business.
  • Monitor and track product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, growth, and call planning.
  • Assist in developing and communicating strategic team goals that maximize profit in sales territory.
  • Provide information systems support, maintain current product information, price list, and bill of materials in system.
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors, sales representatives and customers ensuring timely and accurate data in systems.
  • Assist inside sales reps with customer sales calls and provide quotes.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products.
  • Analyze new business opportunities, implement and coordinate merchandising, updating customers on new and existing products, promotions, and services.
  • Provide training to customers, Boise Cascade staff, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College Degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years' experience with procedures used to design, code, test, and implement online and batch application systems, including experience with the coding techniques and structure of various high-level languages as well as machine and assembly languages.
