Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative or clerical function in a similar position
  • Strong organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills required
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in PC environment and software including Microsoft and Oracle
  • Experience and working knowledge of inventory procedures, inventory control and reconciliation
  • Ability to perform mathematic calculations
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently to achieve goals with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for administrative work and inventory control. EXCEL SPREADSHEET EXPERIENCE PREFERRED!
  • Conducts month end inventory in accordance with company policy
  • Maintain inventory control through thorough checking and documentation of all inventoried items
  • Take regular inventory counts and develop variance reports
  • Investigate variances through review of various reports and worksheets
  • Review and track all purchase orders and expenditures for plant operations
  • Maintain all records and verify invoices
  • Responsible for ordering inventory and non-inventory supplies
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the manufacturing function
  • Prepare reports, documentation or other information as necessary or requested
  • Liaison with support departments to ensure paperwork/documentation is completed properly
  • Verify load sheets and input loads in and out of the Oracle system
  • Enters and tracks all manufacturing KPI and SCRAP in the Oracle system for month end reporting
