The Sr. Analyst/ Manager for Global Quota Operations plays a critical role in setting our fiscal year planning stakeholders up for success by prescriptively raising the bar of efficiency within our planning tool performance (uptime & speed), as well as streamlined processes. We fuel ACV growth by providing a seamless user experience for fast and accurate quota delivery within February. Working with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Incentive Compensation, and Sales Strategy, this individual will identify and solve areas of excessive complexity, manual effort, or cross-functional dependency.

The successful candidate can consume and process information and ideate on solutions of varying types including numerical analysis, process/policy change, and technology changes. Relentless curiosity, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently, while seeking guidance at appropriate times are required. Deliverables include business requirement documentation, status tracking, building out enablement content as well as presentations for Salesforce executives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Become a Quota subject matter expert, able to guide multiple stakeholders on relevant policy, processes, and planning tool features for the upcoming fiscal year planning process.

  • Deliver data-driven findings, solution options & recommendations in partnership with cross-functional teams to streamline quota planning tools and processes.

  • Represent Quota Operations (as a subject matter expert for quota timeline, policy, process, and technology) during the Operational Impact Assessment process for fiscal year planning and decision-making. Thoroughly assess impact of proposed or approved planning decisions, succinctly packaging implications and tradeoffs, make a clear recommendation, drive next steps on the final outcome.

  • Drive the collection of user story documentation required for the Anaplan tool development and facilitate the corresponding demos/ UAT experience for relevant planning stakeholders once complete.

  • Coordinate with executive leadership across multiple planning stakeholders on the timely delivery of critical Quota data dependencies.

  • Connect early and often with relevant planning stakeholders to share updates and hear feedback on the Anaplan Quota Setting Tool.

  • Support a structured learning journey for all relevant stakeholders across Go-To-Market Planning Applications.

  • Craft structured, just-in-time communication, reminders, and learnings during execution.

  • Establish transparent, reliable, program progress tracking for executive leadership.

  • Manage the Hypercare workflow between the G4G stakeholders and the Anaplan technology team during quota setting.

  • Partner with a highly matrixed set of stakeholders including Sales, Sales Strategy, Finance, Sales Compensation,

  • Partner with stakeholders to find opportunities for increased optimization and effectiveness of our existing processes and tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 4+ Years experience in sales operations, sales analytics, sales finance, sales compensation, and/or strategy roles

  • Prior experience with the Planning and Delivery of Go-To-Market processes, and/or familiarity with target setting for various types of selling roles across different regions.

  • Experience with supporting the roll-out of a larger IT implementation or enterprise-level critical initiative on a global scale or with multiple stakeholders.

  • Self-starter who proactively takes the initiative to learn, seek clarity, and independently manage deliverables on a tight timeline in high-pressure situations.

  • Creative problem solver who can balance the big picture vs. details to move past difficulties and find alternative solutions to accomplish objectives.

  • Critical thinker with the ability to understand complex ideas, break them down in a simplified way, and consider multiple perspectives such as policy, process, and technology.

  • Agile planner who embraces challenges and can easily pivot in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and ambiguity.

  • Team-oriented decision-maker who can build excellent rapport, collaborate, and work successfully in a cross-functional environment with complex sets of stakeholders.

  • Skilled communicator with the ability to independently craft a full range of clear, high-impact takeaways and also easily transition into the supporting details as needed. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate in a clear and authentic manner.

  • Risk taker with a track record of curiosity, beginner's mind and challenging the status quo

Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Power-user proficiency in Excel data analysis, experience working with large and complicated data sets

  • Experience with Salesforce, Anaplan, Slack, Tableau a plus

  • Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL, Heroku welcomed

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $128,300 to $176,500.For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $116,600 to $160,400.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $116,600 to $160,400.For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $128,300 to $176,500.
