WHO YOU ARE
Your past experiences have led you to understand that there is an art + science to the how and what a hospitality operations professional is responsible for. You are what your friends might affectionately call a "coffee nerd". You inhale deeply every time you pass a coffee shop taking in the rich aroma. Nothing pleases you quite as much as getting the perfect crema on your espresso pulls. Your passion for coffee is only rivaled by your passion for fresh food and delivering excellent service. THE ROLE
The Barista reports to the F&B Operations Manager and F&B managers/supervisors and works in a team environment with other servers, server assistants, bartenders, barbacks, dishwashers, cooks, and chefs. It is critical the person in this position possess a strong background in the art of coffee and tea making.

As a Barista , you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences. Your interactions may be brief ones, but your guests know they can count on you to get their day started with a smile.

As a member of our service team, you are expected to:
  • Serve food and beverages to guests.
  • Converse with guests about menu items and offer an elevated hospitality experience.
  • Clean and prepare the service and dining areas.
  • Greet and make all guests and members feel welcome in the club
  • Fine dining or high volume restaurant experience preferred
  • Reliable and Responsible
  • Maintain cleanliness behind bar area, including washing coffee materials and glassware
  • Daily upkeep of espresso machine, grinders, etc.
You will arrive changed, polished and mentally ready to work on time. We put an emphasis on treating all of our team members just like we treat our guests- giving a smile, a helping hand, and a willingness to jump in to assist in any situation.

You will also actively develop trusting and transparent relationships with your peers on the service team and other associates of the hotel. As a team member within Aparium Hotel Group you will work with a phenomenal group of peers who insist that you are collaborative, humble, experienced and open-minded - no egos are allowed.
Position Rate of Pay: $18.29 per hour + gratuities
As a condition of employment, all associates will be entered into a tip pool. All gratuities are collected at the end of each day and are distributed among hourly associates bi-weekly.
