Here's how an Accountant for our US Head Officeoffice contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Performs general accounting and administrative functions.
  • Processes corporate credit card statements and employee expense statements.
  • Accounts Payable - as assigned.
  • Journal Entries - as assigned.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, including maintenance of ledgers and cash flows.
  • Understanding of GAAPs (generally accepted accounting principles).
  • Business acumen and understanding of industry practices and new developments, including introductory
  • knowledge of construction industry; understands general construction terms and processes.
  • Aware of relevant government legislation and PCL policies and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrix organization.
  • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with employees at all levels/areas of the organization.
  • Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Skills using Microsoft Office Suite and applicable software

Salary for this position is $58,000 to $65,000 depending on experience
