Job Title: MRI Technologist III

Job Summary: |
The MRI technologist for the BIC should be capable of performing at an advanced level to support research studies at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The MRI technologist should demonstrate advanced technical knowledge, be capable of making complex research/technical judgments, and be competent in following research protocols. The technologist would also be expected to stay abreast of new technological advancements and protocol updates relating to the position. In this position, the individual must demonstrate the ability to provide quality care for human research participants and perform all job duties with sensitivity and attention to age and/or clinical status of the participant population, including effective communication of imaging procedures. This position involves performing MRI procedures across a wide range of development (including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations) and clinical considerations (e.g., overweight/obesity, mental health, neurological status). Duties also include keeping accurate and timely records of study/scanner activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control assessments. Additional duties may include general and administrative support functions necessary for routine operations. This position requires adherence to the University of Colorado Code of Conduct, IRB policies, and departmental policies and procedures.

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $78,194 - $93,000. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
