Job Summary: |
This position is responsible for all aspects of human resources administration related to the Department of Pathology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to recruitment, appointment, dismissal, the annual performance evaluation process, and maintenance of personnel files and leave utilization records of all staff in the Department of Pathology. This position is also responsible for all recruiting and onboarding activities in conjunction with the HR Shared Services representative. The Human Resources Principal Professional is responsible for determining the organization's staffing needs and ensuring consistent interpretation and implementation of administrative and human resource policies and procedures throughout the department. This position must remain current on policies and procedures for the above tasks and ensure compliance with all Department, University, state, and federal guidelines. The individual in this position will provide education and advice to leadership related to staff and faculty employment and compliance including documentation and initiation of discipline and discharge procedures and work in concert with HR Shared Services at the University of Colorado. The individual in this position will provide assistance in personnel issues under the guidance of the Department Chair, DFA, and Vice Chairs. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment 40%

Anticipated Salary Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $59,073 - $75,141 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
