Job Title: Temporary Study Coordinator

This is a temporary position that is exempt from the sate classified system based on 100% funding from gifts, grants or auxiliaries. Positions have limited duration work assignments in accordance with university and campus policies and are not part of the regular staffing pattern for the organization. Appointments are limited to 9 months. The Department of Rheumatology is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, self-driven individual for a temporary, full-time position (40 hours/week, up to 9 months) to support the Clinical Trials team in performing research related tasks. This 1.0 FTE position is based at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. This Study Coordinator position will be responsible for screening, recruitment, enrollment, data entry, regulatory compliance, and assisting research coordinators in duties associated with performing clinical research activities. Individuals with CCRC/CCRP certification or medical assistant/nursing license are preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be a productive member of the Clinical Trials team and participate in research projects. Candidate will work closely with investigators, study coordinators and study nurse. Excellent communication skills, the ability to move efficiently between tasks, and orientation toward teamwork and cooperation are required. The applicants should demonstrate that they are well organized, reliable, independent, and possess considerable attention to detail. They should also have excellent verbal, written and computational skills. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: * Prior research experience * Associate degree or equivalent Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the associate's on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: * CCRC/CCRP certification * 2 years of clinical research experience * 1 year of clinical trial experience

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $18.00 to $25.00 / hour. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
