Job Summary:

The Department of Physical Medicine is searching for an Assistant Professor to join the Spine group at the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Inverness location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spine and sports procedures at Inverness and University of Colorado Hospital Spine Center
  • Participate in inpatient PM&R call pool
  • Supervise medical students, residents and fellows
  • Participate in Department academic activities including Grand Rounds and Resident lectures/didactics
  • Publish in academic or industry journals

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver, Colorado

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • MD of DO
  • Board certified in PM&R

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellowship Training in Pain Medicine or Sports Medicine

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Proven ability to care for patients with high complexity, both medically and psychosocially
  • Leadership ability and commitment to advance diversity and inclusion

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$215,000 - $270,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
