Job Summary: |
This is a unique opportunity to work in an academic and clinically busy orthopedic sports medicine practice with one of the premier sports medicine groups on the front range of Colorado. The position will be a part-time (.50 FTE or 2.5 days per week) Instructor-Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position in the Department of Orthopedics. The employee may work in Denver, Aurora and Boulder, CO. The position is not eligible for tenure. Supervision received: This position reports to Dr. Eric McCarty, but will work with other Sports Medicine physicians in the Sports Medicine practice, and as needed, with the Chair of the Department, Dr. Evalina Burger-Van Der Walt and the Department of Orthopedics Director of Finance and Administration. Key Responsibilities: This is a position requiring interest in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery. The applicant must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a high intensity environment. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are required as well.

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $50,000 - $55,000 for a .50 FTE position The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
