Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a Abdominal Imaging/Body Imaging radiologist to join us as an anchor radiologist at our new community Highlands Ranch Hospital. UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital is an expanding 139 bed community hospital in the south suburbs of Denver with a focus on Oncology, Women's Services, Heart and Vascular, along with other service lines. Denver is consistently ranked one of the most livable cities in America, with four seasons, abundant sunshine and easy access to numerous cultural and recreational activities. We are open to applicants at all experience levels.

This is a daytime position

  • No overnight shifts
  • Approximately 2 evening shifts/month (2-10 pm)
  • Approximately 7 weekends/year

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of the abdominal imaging section covering multiple sites, the successful recruit will be required to participate in all aspects of our clinical practice
  • Body Imaging of all modality types, including MR, CT, US, and GI/GU fluoroscopy
  • Participation and collaboration through interdisciplinary conferences is ongoing
  • Participation in fellow, and resident education is expected
  • Being one of the primary radiologists at our hospital, regular interaction with referring providers within our highly collaborative setting is a standard expectation of the role.

Work Location: This position will work primarily at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below.

Academic rank will be determined during the interview process after discussion between the candidate and the department about previous experience and academic desires.

Assistant Professor:

  • MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible, abdominal fellowship training.

Associate Professor:

  • MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible, abdominal fellowship training.

Professor:

  • MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible, abdominal fellowship training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working and collaborating with multiple clinical specialties

Required competencies:

  • Interpretation of abdominal radiology imaging studies and procedures
  • Competency in basic radiology procedures

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

Assistant Professor: $420,000 - $470,000

Associate Professor: $420,000 - $470,000

Professor: $420,000 - $470,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
