Job Description
Advanced Practice Provider in On-Demand Telehealth - MedStar Medical Group - Part Time 0.5 FTE - Weekend Hours Required

MedStar Medical Group offers a uniquely rewarding career in a major marketplace. Shape your future in health care in the kind of setting that's right for you and your practice. Become part of an organization that welcomes your experience and input - as a clinician and healthcare expert.

We are looking for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners with acute care (urgent care and/or ED) experience to join MedStar's growing telemedicine services. In this position, you will work remotely and will see on-demand acute patient visits via the MedStar eVisit platform. The role also provides coverage for the Connected Care program providing scheduled telehealth appointments while promoting a team-based approach to care and working in conjunction with primary care and specialist team members. This program improves patient access to a clinician and facilitates care within the MedStar system.

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners must currently have (or apply for) licenses (including DEA and CDS) in Maryland, DC, and Virginia (license and DEA only) for this role.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
This 0.5 FTE position requires a minimum of 8 hours per week to be scheduled on the weekend (Saturday/Sunday), 4 hours on Friday and 8 hours to be scheduled Monday through Thursday for a total of 20 hours per week.

As a MedStar Medical Group part time clinician, you can expect competitive salary, paid licensing and malpractice insurance and prorated benefits.

Be a part of a nationally recognized health system and the largest provider of health services in the Baltimore/Washington region. With vast resources and capabilities at your disposal, you can expand your clinical expertise. Enjoy a rich career and a quality of life unique to Baltimore and the Mid-Atlantic region, which features a mix of urban, suburban and rural communities.

Be the provider you were meant to be, here at MedStar.
