Job Summary: |
The Single Ventricle APP (SV APP) will be part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for managing and coordinating the care of the single ventricle patient population within our Heart Institute. The SV APP will partner and collaborate with out SV director for ongoing single ventricle programmatic needs. The SV APP will consult and facilitate coordination of care with the inpatient cardiology teams. The SV APP would provide continuity of care for single ventricle patient needs and function as a direct point of contact for families throughout the spectrum of single ventricle care. The Society of Thoracic Surgery requires a hospital to perform at least 250 heart surgeries per year to be considered a high-volume center. Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications: Certified Nurse Practitioners are certified advanced practice nurses who provide primary healthcare and specialized health services. Physicians Assistances are licensed to provide primary health care and specialized health services. First time appointees must complete the application process to receive authorization to provide services as an allied health professional.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $130,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
