Purpose and Scope
The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics will lead brand analytics for the Pediatric Endocrinology business unit. They will be responsible for leading development of commercial reporting, building the annual forecast for the brand, and developing quarterly incentive compensation plans. The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics will be the main point of contact for all analytics needs of the general manager of the Pediatric Endocrinology business units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Primary analytics strategic partner of the general manager of the Pediatric Endocrinology business unit.
* Refine multiple large source data sets into concise, useful, and meaningful management reports, with an emphasis on providing timely and accurate answers to key business questions.
* Work with the business unit's general manager and sales leadership to develop gross and net revenue forecasts. Track performance against these forecasts and perform analysis to understand performance.
* Identify, research, and modify variances to forecast by changing business and market conditions and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
* Support strategic forecast initiatives designed to improve quality of the forecast and close the identified gaps.
* Work with leadership to develop Sales Incentive Plans. Measure and Track Sales Incentive performance throughout the year.
* Assist with special projects as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas and some VBA experience).
* Additional data handling technical skills, such as SQL and Python are desired.
* Ability to work with imperfect data and manage ambiguity to support business decisions.
* Ability to work independently on data analyses and combine multiple data sources across multiple views to uncover trends.
* Great business sense with presence to share thoughts and make a difference.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong project management, analytical, and financial modeling experience.
* Self-starter with the ability to build new capabilities over time.

Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or other quantitatively oriented field
* 7-10 years related experience in Commercial Analytics, Report Development, Forecasting and Sales Incentives, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
Working Conditions
* Office environment; requiring sitting and standing.
* Travel as required.
Compensation
Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($90,600 and $113,300 year); however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities.
