This role is located in Indianapolis, IN.

The Opportunity:

The Inside Sales Manager leads a team of Account Specialists who are responsible for revenue generation, account management, contract negotiations, and driving business opportunities in both established and new accounts within their assigned territory. The Inside Sales Manager and team will collaborate with Field Sales on selected accounts, as well as have accountability to own total account management of a specific segment of customers and strategic customer groups.

  • Mobilizing their team to deliver results while establishing and fostering a winning spirit and a culture of accountability by motivating individuals to meet and exceed their sales targets.

  • Responsible for driving the team's success in converting customers on legacy platforms to current and next-generation instrumentation and IT solutions.

  • Demonstrates the ability to strategically collaborate across departments to implement promotional strategies/campaigns, and drive process improvements.

  • Manage strategic customer group partnerships at the executive and C-suite level to grow revenue and market share within specific customer segments.

  • Has full discretion on all employment decisions for department staff including hiring, training, performance management, and progressive disciplinary actions.

  • Positively impact the skillset, business acumen, and career of team members through coaching and strong engagement in customer interactions with consistent guidance.

  • Assist Senior Leadership in the overall operations of assigned department(s) including managing the budget and all assigned resources.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree- or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of relevant sales or equivalent experience with demonstrated success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Core Lab Sales Experience is strongly preferred

  • Proven management and leadership abilities

  • Strong understanding of internal processes and systems

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and projects

  • High level of sales proficiency and/or industry-specific experience

  • Negotiation, contracting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work within a regulated environment

Relocation benefits are not available for this role

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $85,300 - $158,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
